This spring, we’re planning an Old Town Mural Crawl — a multi-week dine-to-donate campaign benefiting the Old Town Greenwood, Inc. Mural Project, with proceeds going through Old Town Greenwood, Inc. (501(c)3). We have attached the sponsorship packet if you would like to learn more about the project.
Event Name: Drink & Dine for Design: An Old Town Mural Crawl
Tagline: Eat Local. Support Art. Color Old Town Greenwood.
What is it?
The Mural Crawl encourages residents and visitors to support Old Town businesses by dining local, collecting passport stamps, and entering prize drawings — all while helping fund a new public mural for our district.
The crawl would run over 4–6 weeks (likely in April and May), with:
- One to two businesses featured each week for additional promotion (pending participants)
- The business can determine if they would like to donate from sales from one day, one product, the full week, etc.
- A simple passport program to encourage guests to visit multiple locations
How Businesses Can Participate
Participation is designed to be flexible and low-lift. Businesses may choose to contribute by:
- Donating a percentage of sales
- Donating a fixed dollar amount per check
- Donating proceeds from a featured item or special
- Other creative ways that make sense for you
Optional Prize Donations
To help encourage participation, we plan to offer giveaway prizes for guests who “complete” their Mural Crawl passports. If your business is interested, you’re welcome to donate a small prize or gift card to be included in the drawings. Prize donors will be acknowledged in event promotion and final thank-you messaging. Prize donations are completely optional and not required to participate.
