Restore Old Town Greenwood, Inc. is excited to be a part of this year’s Greenwood-A-Glow event. The event is hosted by Friends of the Greenwood Public Library.

Greenwood-A-Glow is a family event held at the Greenwood Public Library that celebrates and kicks off the holiday season. There are activities for the whole family, including:

  • Lighting of the Christmas Tree (a new “Greenwood” tree will be on the grounds of GPL)
  • A holiday craft to complete and take home
  • Horse drawn carriage rides
  • Photos with Santa ($1 per photo)
  • A LIVE animal show (including a real reindeer!)
  • Coloring room
  • Christmas caroling
  • Holiday-themed photo booth
  • And more …

The event is well-attended (an average of 1,000-1,500).

We are seeking $500 sponsorships/donations for the event. Sponsors will have their logo on all promotional materials, flyers and media releases. We will have recognition of sponsors that evening and a special “first in line to see Santa” benefit! Friends of Greenwood Public Library is a tax deductible 501(c)3 organization.

ROTG also encourages businesses in Old Town to host open houses or offer special promotions during the event. We will promote those on social media as well as at the event, for free! If your business plans to have an open house or offer a special promotion, please contact info@restoreoldtowngreenwood.org with details.

If you have questions, please contact Jane Weisenbach at (317) 883-4249 or jweisenbach@greenwoodlibrary.us.
